Personal Statement
I'm thrilled to share some great news. Over the winter I worked with my swing coach, Todd Tanner, on some significant swing changes. The hard work continues to pay off! My 18 hole scores continue to improve. Not to mention shooting my best 9 hole score of 31!
I'm more committed than ever to play college golf at the highest level possible.
Here are my last 5 18 hole scores: (Average score of 71.4)
June 2, 2018 Links at Overlake: Par 72 - 68 included 7 birdies (tournament preparation round)
May 30, 2018 Mountain View Golf Course: Par 72 - 72
May 28, 2018 Glenmoor Golf Course Par: 72 - 70 (Included a back 9 of 31)
May 19, 2018 Glenmoor Golf Course Par:72 - 74
May 18, 2018 Glenmoor Golf Course Par: 72 - 73
Outside of the game I'm also an Eagle Scout. I received that award when I was 13 years old. I believe that to be a sign of my diligence to accomplishing important goals in my life. The average Eagle Scout receives their Eagle award at nearly 17 years old. I know that when I put my mind to something important to me, I can accomplish it.
I look forward to working with a college golf coach that can help me accomplish my playing goals and also build my love for the game.
Graduation with a bachelors degree from a respected university remains my top priority. I know that golf can be my conduit to achieving that goal.
