Connor Mariner '21 Recruiting Profile

I plan on furthering my education and continuing my hockey career in a NCAA hockey program. My educational interests revolve around business adminstration and constructuion management. I am a great student and work hard on and off the ice. During the summer I work as a cook at a local golf course and make a great Philly cheesesteak.

I am currently excelling as a defenseman in the NCDC playing for the Utah Outliers. I have shown an offensive touch in my AAA hockey career, but I have continued to work on my defensive zone coverage in oder to transition to college hockey. I have good speed, great hands, move the puck well, and have been developing my physical game in the NCDC mountain (Utah Outliers) and the south division of the NAHL (Lonestar and El Paso). I play clean and physical hockey, and protect my teamates.

Off the ice I love to help with my sister's special needs team here in Colorado, or volunteer at charity events put on by my team. Oh, and golf, definiely golf!

To my future coach, I will give you everything I have on the ice, and embrace anything the team needs from me. I will honor our program off the ice and I will be an honor student in the class room.
