John Plebanski '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is John Plebanski. I currently attend Walter Payton College Prep High School. Academically Walter Payton College Prep is a top ten rated High School in the nation and the number one Academic school in Illinois.  I take great pride in the fact that I was able to test into such a great school. I have a pronounced interest in Science and excel extremely high in Mathematics.  I'd like to pursue a Degree in Biochemistry when I attend college.  Positionally I play left wing for the Latin Romans HS Hockey Club with a left-handed shot. Currently I am 5'08, 180 lbs. at 17 years of age. I have been skating since the age of 2 and have played at all levels: ADM, Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam and High School on both house and travel teams. I believe I am a strong positional player that excels at team play. I like to use my size and strength along the boards to obtain puck control. I have good up ice vision and the passing skills to create breakout situations.  I look forward to exploring the different programs that schools have to offer that would best fit my skill set and personality.  I hope that you would consider me for your program.
