I have been playing hockey ever since I could remember. I began playing floor hockey when I was 4 at our Air Force base my father was stationed at. I tried football but hockey was my true calling. I began at the age of 6 with Learn to Play and quickly started with Learn to Play. I began my hockey career with the Southern Illinois Ice Hawks from Mini Mite through Pee Wee. At the Bantam level I made the Twin Bridges Lightening Central States team. I was with them both year of Bantam and then made the Chesterfield Falcons U15 Central States team. This season I am again with the Chesterfield Falcons U16 team. I also play high school hockey on both the JV and the Varsity teams. I was drafted by the Freeburg/Waterloo Raging Bulldogs the Summer of my Freshman year. The 2018-2019 season will be my third season with the Bulldogs.
I am a well rounded, two way player. I played Defense for 5 seasons and currently play offense as both a Right Wing and a Center.
I am a coachable player and strive to better myself each time I step on the ice. I am a team player and try to lead by example and encourage and build up my team mates.
I have always wanted to play hockey at a collegiate level and know this will change my life for the better.
I study hard in school and maintain a GPA of a 3.7-3.9. I am currently a Junior at Lebanon High School in Lebanon, IL and am on the Math team. Playing on three hockey teams does not give me much time to join extra curricular groups but I have volunteered with our Drama club for productions and setting up for their yearly haunted house. I also volunteer as a Referee at the Scott AFB youth program for their floor hockey program and an Umpire for their t-ball/baseball program as well.
My goal is to attend a college that will push me to be a better person. I strive to make my coaches, my team mates and my family proud of me.
