Personal Statement
I have always dreamed of playing in the NHL, since I was a two year old doing snow plow sam classes. My parents liked hockey, they watched it but never played. It was my passion, I don't know where it came from, its just there.I would live on the ice if I could. I realized as I reached high school level that chances to play professional hockey is slim, but I will do what it takes and I want to play for my college one day. I declined to play for varsity my freshman and sophmore year of high school.I did not feel I was ready and I knew i would get more ice time on JV. I played with the prep/JV team and learned a lot about myself. I was able to help be a leader when named captain. Now enetered into my Junior year and the winter season beginning I know that college is right around the corner and I am ready to start planning for my future. I know I can do what ever I set my mind to. My mind is set on many more years of doing what I love and that's playing hockey!
