Ivan Schmitz '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ivan. I am an 8th grade hockey and baseball player, and an academic achiever.  I am known for being hard working and getting my teammates better in practice and in games, and being coachable. My greatest strength is my work ethic and always striving to get better. My accomplishments in hockey include: being nominated  and selected for the CCM High Performance Program in my first year if elebility and making it to phase 3; leading my team to the Minnesota State Tournament for my 2021 hockey season; and receiving the USA Hockey Hat Trick, Play Maker, and Academic All Star awards for several years in a row. I continue working to improve skating, finding and creating space on the ice, and putting the time in off the ice to get bigger, faster, and stronger.
