As a goalie, I train and compete to help my team win. My approach to hockey revolves around 3 elements: (1) extensive off-ice training that includes building strength, quickness, nutritional reserve, and mental toughness; (2) continued expert goalie coaching year round; and (3) intensive teamwork and competition at the AAA, prep school and junior levels. One of my biggest strengths is the skill to remain focused, calm and composed in pressure-filled situations. This flows from intense pregame preparation. My education and creativity are also very important to me and my family. Both of my parents are health professionals and my father is a university professor. I plan to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees, following in their footsteps, during and after my competitive playing days.
