My aspirations are to have an opportunity to play the highest level of hockey that I can for as long as possible. I love this sport so much and it has taken me many places and has taught me more lessons than almost anything else in my life. My size would make me a good candidate for any team and I strive in the off-season to work on my strength to make it even more of an asset. I'm a good team player and a pat on the back after a shot block means as much to me as one after an assist or a goal. One thing that makes me different from other recruits is my willingness to go to the dirty areas of the ice. I'm not always flashy but I get things done. Throughout my hockey career I've been blessed with great coaches that have always told me that the work that I input off the ice will in turn result in improved play when I come back, and as I get older I am attempting to exhibit this philosophy to the best of my ability.
