Hi, my name is Gavin and I'm a 15-year-old goalie in West Haven, UT. My main goal is to make it to the pro level and I’m committing my whole life towards this goal. My greatest strengths are my coachability, athleticism, attitude, and commitment to give 110% every time I step on the ice. I’m committed to my team and take every opportunity I can to play as well as continue increasing my skills and abilities. I started playing hockey when I was 3 years old and have loved the sport and game ever since. As a Mini Mite, I always volunteered to play in net. Then when I became a Mite, my parents bought me my first goalie set up and the obsession took off. My second year of Mite, I was moved up to be the starter goalie for the Squirt Travel team. I was also pulled up early during Peewee’s and Bantams to play net for the travel teams. I’ve played defensemen, winger, and center throughout my career. Having played different positions on the ice, has given me insight into what players in different positions are thinking. Additional sports I’ve played growing up are lacrosse, baseball, karate, and soccer.
