For me, college is going to be the most important accomplishment so far in my life. It is the gateway to where I am going to be and what i will be doing for the rest of my life. Some of my goals include achieving at least a 3.9 GPA in order to get into the higher-level colleges. In college, I hope to get into a Division two hockey league such as the NAHL for example. Ultimately my main goal is to participate in playing in the National Hockey League.
Some key takeaways about me that make me a great candidate for your team is that I am extremely hard working (on and off the ice), I am very reliable for face offs. I play a shut down defense style of hockey meaning, nobody gets past me, and I read plays very well. I'm very quick and shifty on my skates, and I'm always the first one to the puck. What separates me from other candidates is that I am consistent in work ethic and performance. I train on a regular basis both on and off the ice, and I don't let my emotions get to me. I put my team in front of me. I never take bad/lazy penalties. No matter how bad a day I may be having, I show up to the rink with excitement to work with my team. That passion that I have for hockey will always be there. School wise, I excel among many people. I value my education and always get my work done and turned in on time and ready to go. I challenge myself by taking at least two Advanced Placement (AP) classes per year. When I pass the final AP exams, that then will bump up my GPA even more which looks exceptionally well on my transcript.
