Carson Zick '24 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a 6'0" 195-pound defenseman from Baraboo Wisconsin that has been playing high level hockey my whole life. My goal is to play on a high-level juniors team in the next two years and get picked up by a high-level college team. My dream is to compete for and win an NCAA D1 tournament. My play style is very physical and gritty in the corners due to my large frame. I am very good at moving the puck out of my defensive zone and up the ice. I also however provide good speed and playmaking ability. I think my strongest attributes are my hard and accurate shot and my physical play. My weaker attributes are my lateral foot speed on the blue line and my hand's speed. I think that what sets me apart from other players is my determination and grit. I play with a ton of passion and do anything to win.
