I am currently playing for the Milwaukee Junior Admirals u18 AAA team out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am different from other candidates in the fact that I am an extremely hard worker who puts effort into every possible scenario. I am also very gifted both athletically and academically and I aspire to play at D1 college level hockey, although I completely understand what it takes to get there and it is a hard path to reach. I have also had many past coaches tell me I am a great leader, possess a unique hockey IQ, and an extraordinary example of a good all round character.
My proudest moment in hockey was an example of a Michael Jordan story as I have grinded my whole life to play AAA hockey. I previously tried out for the Chicago Young Americans twice, both in Midget minor year (u15) and Bantam Major year. Unfortunately, I was the last one cut during the u15 tryout year, which really took a toll on me. I realized how close I truly was to my goal of playing AAA hockey and I hit both the gym and the ice hard. However, in 2020, when I went to tryout, it was a different story. My future coach, had said how much I had improved in the offseason and how impressed he really was with my gameplay. I ended up making the team, but I knew my journey had only just begun. From then, I have continued to workout extensively outside of hockey and make sure every time I touch the ice I leave it all out there. Now, I'm making sure to give it my best, and it paid off, since I was third on the team in points and first in plus/minus. I have great vision on the ice and I am great at keeping possession of the puck, knowing when to pass and when to shoot, and how to get open for my team. My strength in the game of hockey is I am willing to do whatever it takes at all costs to win and my game is well rounded with me being an important piece of my teams offense but also a key role on defense. I take pride in knowing I have given my all every time I step foot on the ice and I will continue to love the game of hockey forever, wherever my path takes me.
