Throughout my seven years of lacrosse, other sports and school I have learned how to be a leader. Leadership is important in every aspect, not even just sports. I feel like lacrosse itself has taught me the most about leadership I can use in my everyday lifestyle. This leadership I use in school as well, getting myself and others exited about learning. From playing lacrosse in 4th grade to being a captain my sophomore year of Highschool I have learned a lot of valuable lessons. Being a captain this year, in my sophmore year taught me a lot of things. The most important thing for me is that you need to gain the teams respect and be the person to be there for every person on the team, just starting lacrosse, or have played for ten years. Exitment is something I have for lacrosse and is something that helps motivated myself and helps me motivate other people.
