Wilson Murphy '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Wilson Murphy. I am second of 4 siblings, all of which wish to play lacrosse in their future.  Everyone in my family plays lacrosse with a passion ever since we were young. I have been playing lacrosse for the past 9 years.  When I started I knew I wanted to pursue it to the collegiate level. Playing 3 sports, with no off season I have learned discipline and commitment to everything I do which has helped to push not only my athletic career but my academics as well.  I attend Charter School of Wilmington, ranked #2 nationally in STEM schools where I achieved 2nd Honor roll, and Academic All-Conference in Varsity Football, Lacrosse, and JV basketball. I began starting for our Varsity lacrosse team in the 8th grade from being the youngest on the team I have learned how to strive as a team player, and not only help push those around me, but learn from them as well.  As I advance in both my athletic and academic career I will continue to drive myself to be the best I can for myself, and the people around me, and I hope to continue this throughout my college career.
