Jack Yungwirth '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2026 student athlete, who plays lacrosse goalie.  As a goalie, I enjoy being both the last line of defense with a save or helping getting my defensemen in the right place to interrupt a shot; and the first line of offense with an outlet clear.  I also enjoy the challenge of being a goalie, where the slightest change in stance or positioning can make a big difference.  Of course, I have had great coaching at Lovett (Coach Buczek), 3D Georgia (Coach Leary) and working with the Goaliesmith crew.  

I work as hard in the classroom as on the field.  I currently have a challenging course load with several AP and honors classes, but school is a lot more fun when it is a challenge.  I look forward to continuing these challenges in the classroom and on the field in college.
