Teamwork wins. Teamwork math is 1+1=3. Two people pulling together creates much more force than individual effort. I am happiest when on a team. I play this game for many reasons: I play it because the impact of hard work comes out on the field. I play it because working as a team makes everyone better, including me. I play it because I love how it moves. I play it because I love being challenged. I want to be tested by others as much as I want to test them. I started playing lacrosse when I was 5 and best friend Mason played goalie, I wanted to protect Mason. Nothing has changed.
I am a student-athlete in every sense of the word. I study as hard as I play. I opted for a transfer to a Jesuit school so that I'd be challenged more in the classroom. I like being an individual while uniformly adhering to policy. At private schools, you stand out by your effort, not by your clothes. My effort sets me apart.
I play other sports, but I love lacrosse.
