Dear Coaches.
I want to play college lacrosse because lacrosse is my favorite sport. I put 100% in everything I do- on and off the field. You want me on your team because I take the lead in a positive way and have confidence that hopefully inspires the whole team to give it our all. In fact, I have been honored with the best team spirit award for the last 2 years! My coaches have consistently admired my leadership role on the team. I know that yelling negative comments and chiding the other team is counterproductive and distracting. I use my loud voice, big body, strength, and speed to encourage my teammates, yet play my best and be a strong force on the playing field. I always look after my teammates and figure out the best way we can connect as a team-and win games. When it comes to academics, I give my full attention and always strive to get good grades. Off the field, I like to hang out with my friends, attend sporting events to cheer on my classmates, and lift weights in the gym. Other sports that I enjoy: football, downhill skiing, swimming (we live right on Lake Champlain), fishing/boating, and mountain biking. Thank you for considering me as a player for your team. Isaac Karlin
