Personal Statement

My first time holding an oar was in 7th grade when my mother encouraged me to join my local rowing team to try and get me to stay in shape.  I quickly fell in love with the sport and aspire to continue at a collegiate level.  I am working with the excellent coaching staff of Wappingers Crew Club and the Hudson River Rowing Association both on and off the water to improve my technique and overall strength.  I am  currently working towards a goal of a sub 6:30 2k pace by the end of my junior season, with a current pace of 6:44.

Similarly to my performance on the water, I excel in the classroom as well.  I am currently taking 4 AP classes with a current unweighted average of 94.7.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
