Personal Statement
My name is Aguedo Gonzalez. I'm 5 feet and 5 inches. I've been playing soccer since I was little but I actually started playing team soccer in the 6th grade, and started to play school ball since 8th grade, I'm a Junior now. I played Varsity and Junior Varsity soccer in my Freshman year. The Varsity team got 2nd place in The Morgan County Tournament my Freshman. I'm still playing in Varsity. I haven't played club soccer because my parents and I can't afford it so I play AYSO. I've play every position in Defense. My coaches always left me to take charge of the entire defense so I know how to control the back area. I play some Midfield, Center back Mid. My dominate foot is my right but I'm training my left foot so I can be able to use both easily. I use my brain to memorize the foot skills of the attacking player so I can know how to defend next time that he attacks. I train everyday with my younger brother trying to learn new foot skills. My endurance has gone up by a lot for all the running I do during the summer. Strength is really high on both upper and lower body. Speed has increased but I want to get it higher so I can out run other attacking players, I have improved my speed a lot since I played in 8th grade. I've learned a lot about reading the field, I use the field like a map. People say that I always have a good character on the field, they say that I always take things calmly in tough situations. I don't show off when I play because I believe that that's being disrespectful to the other team. My academics are good, I try my best to keep my grades up and always put extra time to study and do homework. Right now I have a 3.7 GPA. I plan to go to college to have a secure future, I want to study Theoretical Physics and/or Astrophysics.
