Personal Statement
I have always had a love for soccer (football). From the time I could walk, I was begging my parents to be on a team. I consider myself a leader in the classroom and on the field. I've always wanted to play at the highest collegiate level with hopes of playing professional soccer after college. I am a central defender which is a position that requires a consistent and calm command presence while on the field. I am a very vocal player on the pitch and have taken advantage of the excellent training I have received over the years in order to utilize my 6'2" frame to my advantage. While I am in the classroom I strive to be the best I can be in all academic areas.
I consider myself a very coachable player. I have played competitive soccer since the age of 9 and currently play for San Juan Soccer Club in Sacramento California. I have played Mens Varsity Soccer for Elk Grove High School and I play for CalNorth State Olympic Development Team 98. I am also Part of the Region IV Boys ODP Pool.
I know playing at a high collegiate level will be one of the best things that could ever happen to me. This is a goal that I have been working towards my entire life in the classroom and on the field.
I am very aware of the big picture in life, and accomplishing my goals in college, through to graduation, while building on my soccer career is at the heart of it all,
