My name is Arlyn Rai and I have been playing this wonderful sport, soccer/football since I was five years old. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life and is something I have dreamed about growing up. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated soccer player with a passion for the game. I have strong physical defense, mental toughness and strong understanding of this sport. I am a team player and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and respectful to coaches, players, spectators and as well as the game officiating referees. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find. I incorporate CrossFit and Agility Training to improve my fitness, speed and athleticism. I also participate in good course charity runs like "Feed the Hungry" during Thanksgiving and Shamrock runs to support "Cancer Survivors". In addition to soccer, I prioritize my studies. I maintain a strong GPA and am dedicated to achieving academic success in college. I also volunteer at my soccer club tournaments and do volunteer work at my Church, West Sacramento Sikh Temple. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers in my community and also make my parents, teachers and coaches proud.
