Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Jesse Fitzgerald and I am a junior at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California and I graduate in 2016. I play Striker, Left Attacking Defender, and Left Attacking Mid on the FCLA B97 Black team that plays in the SCDSL, BU17 Flight 1. I am known for both my speed, my ability to play off of both feet and my skill at scoring and setting up scoring plays. I was awarded the Offensive MVP of the Mission League in Southern California for the 2014/2015 season as well as 1st Team All Conference and Offensive MVP of my High School. Academically, my intended major is Business. I am fully aware how important academics are in the admission process. Notre Dame is considered one of the top academic college prep schools in Southern California. My freshman year GPA was 3.86, and I’m working extremely hard this year to raise it even further, taking both honors and AP classes. I have been playing club soccer for the past six years and my current team and I have been invited to play at the highest level tournaments including Surf Cup, National Cup, Dallas Cup, and Gothia Cup. As an individual I am very determined, passionate, confident, intelligent, and athletic. Playing college soccer is one of my main priorities and I would love to compete at the highest and most competitive level.
