John Gayer '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 6 years old and can't imagine not playing.  I have played many different positions including Outside linebacker, D-End, Tight End, Offensive Tackle, Defensive Tackle, and Offensive Guard. Defensive End and Tight End are the positions I play now and the positions I am best suited to play given my size and skills.  Regardless of where a coach puts me, my hard work and drive to succeed will always be 100 percent. Football is my passion and playing at the highest level possible is my goal. I am focused on achieving this goal everyday both in season and in the offseason.   As for my physical attributes,  I have what it takes to play football in college. I am currently 6ft 4in and 255 lbs, lift at least 4 times a week, and have a private trainer for speed and agility training. I am blessed with height and a frame that I can put muscle on. I have a high football IQ that I utilize in game situations.
