Luis Villanueva '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a unique and motivating leader because I want everybody to be the best they can be on my team. I embrace pressure and want the challenge of a big moment on my shoulders such as a penalty kick. There is no moment bigger then me. I give attention to the mental part of the game. I use techniques to stay focused in the game and give all my effort every time. 

I play center mid, left wing or right wing. I can scan the field, I have a good touch with the ball and I also have a good shot on target. I have experience playing over seas in Spain and have also made varsity as a freshmen.  I bring a positive mindset to the team no matter the situation. Its important to stay positive because  it can give other players even yourself a boost of confidence which will make the player give it there 100%. I also have a lot of experience leading my soccer team since I am captain of my club team.

A goal I have is to go D1 in college and one day to go pro.  One thing I would like to accomplish in college is to finish college with a 4.0 GPA. Another goal for college is to get a masters in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management to become an athletic director.
