Andres Rodriguez '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been invested in soccer my entire life and strive to be a phenomenal goalkeeper in the professional scene. I have always had a tremendous passion for soccer and always looked to improve my game. Academically, I have been a primarily straight A student all of my life, with a 4.42 GPA to close my 1st Junior semester. I am a natural leader, being the captain of every club team I've been a part of including my varsity high school team since sophomore year. Being very vocal on the pitch is my duty as a goalkeeper and I like to control the game by instructing my players.  I have been raised to respect my teachers and coaches and have always taken advice or instruction from a coach and tried to implement that into my life and play as much as possible. Academically I am in the top 10% of my class and make it my goal to remain a top student as well as athlete.  I have always strived to be better than any goalkeeper I've been on the same field as, and will continue to do that for the rest of my life.  Playing high level college soccer is a dream of mine and I am willing to do anything possible to achieve that dream.
