Jean Vega '21 Recruiting Profile

    Hello my name is Jean Vega, an upcoming senior (2021) at Parlier High School in Central California. I'm sending this email to show my interest in attending your institution and playing for your soccer program.

    Some background about myself I came from Mexico when I was eight years old, I've been playing soccer since I can remember, I was close to joining a Chivas academy but then I moved over to the U.S around that time. I've played organized soccer since I was 10. I played for three clubs around my Fc Tigritos/ Selma Atletico which we always played two to three ages older than me, then I moved to Fc Diablos which we play in the NorCal League. For Fc Diablos I played behind five valley/state champs. Playing with them and seeing their style of playing has taught me a lot as well as being committed, humble, confident and continuing to improve myself in every way possible.  

     I love playing as a right middle as well as right back or left back, some of my strengths  are playing very defensive/physical as being a play maker as a middle. I have the ability to stay focused under pressure with a cold minded head. I've played RB/LB for most of my soccer career. I changed to right midfielder about two years ago but still keeping my full back talent.

       I hope to play at my best form for college soccer and stay on top of my game while I pursue my education as an school athlete that I am as well as being a team member with a positive mindset.
