Brycen May 2021Personal Statement
My name is Brycen and I started playing soccer when I was 6 years old. My first coach, “Coach D” taught me the game because I do not come from a soccer family. I started playing interschool soccer at my charter school and found that I was good at goal and defense. I asked my parents if I could play recreational soccer when I was 7. I have been playing for Coach Hugo since then in recreational, then travel soccer along with other great coaches. The right coach, team attitude and training are important to me. I love the challenges of goal and I am known as a very aggressive keeper. I am looking forward to playing in college, getting a good education and improving my knowledge of soccer and goalkeeping.
