Joseph Syson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joe Syson, and I live in a small town in the mountains of Colorado. Where I come from snow covers the ground for the majority of the year making it very difficult to find spaces to do what I love the most, which is playing soccer. Although the conditions of where I live create much adversity towards my dream of playing soccer at a higher level, I truly believe that adversity can only make me stronger and better. I play and watch soccer as much as I can in order to better my skills and knowledge at the beautiful game. Soccer has always been my passion, but there is no doubt that I also value my academics very highly. Throughout my high school years I have taken pride in my academic achievements and I strive to continue my hard work until the day I graduate. I love to be challenged both on and off of the field, and that is exactly what I'm looking for in a program. I hope that my goal of reaching higher levels of both soccer and academics will be achieved in the coming years, but until then I will continue to work hard in order to improve all aspects of my soccer, academic ability, and my character.
