Personal Statement
As a Center Midfielder, my job is to distribute the play and keep the team going offensively and defensively. Having good vision on the pitch enables me to make good decisions during the game when it comes to either setting up my teammates for goal scoring opportunities, or scoring myself. Switching the play and looking for those runs that my teammates can make is what I'm best at.
Born in France, I'm a dual national (French/American) who's gone all in on soccer since I started playing at 3 years old -- playing Travel A teams, premier clubs and high school. Working as a Connecticut State certified referee since I was 12, refereeing has helped to round me out as a player. Refereeing was one of the hardest things that first year, but it's given me a deeper appreciation for managing the pitch and sidelines and making the hard decisions. This past summer I enjoyed working at a local soccer camp, helping to teach young kids the skills they need to play the best team sport in the world.
As much as I love soccer, my first priority as a student-athlete is academics. I’m an honor-roll student since my freshman year, leader of our high school DECA (national business) club and was selected to attend the 2016 International Student Leadership Conference. I'm interested in a liberal arts education and studying International Business in college.
With my skills and passion for soccer, I hope to have the opportunity to continue to play in college. I am looking to play for a college coach who will help me to continue to give the best of myself to the team by reaching my fullest potential.
