My name is Hayden Michael Ross Koscicki. I am a 17 year old, 12th grade goalkeeper for my Florida Rush Soccer Club and Apopka High School Varsity team. I started playing soccer when I was eight years old for our local recreation league. At my first practice ever, coach asked who wanted to play in goal. No one but myself raised their hand and I have been playing keeper ever since. I love keeping because I can go 1v1 with a player on the other team which I love doing, and I also have the ability to use my hands while playing the sport that I love to play and its also just a really fun position to play. I believe that I have a natural ability of cutting angles, anticipating next moves and show no fear. My playing strategy of planning one or two plays ahead may come from my joy of playing chess as well. I feel that I communicate well with my team and help be their eyes over the entire field. I also played recreational Basketball for a couple seasons but my true passion is soccer. During the off season, to stay in shape and keep my hands and feet on the ball, I enjoy playing competitive Futsal and playing indoor on Friday nights with my Dad. These two allow me more time to work on my field play and foot skills. I also weight lift during the summer months with my grandfather. While school is not my favorite, I do pretty well maintaining all A's and B's.
