Isaac Carranza '23 Recruiting Profile

My goals are very simple. I want to play professional soccer, the sport that has been my escape from everyday life. Soccer is not only an escape but it is also a way of expressing myself and my feelings when I am on the field and that's the main reason why I fell in love with the sport. The love I have for the sport is one of the things that fuel my drive and dedication and that will never change. I don't see soccer as a sport, I see it as a way of life. That is why when i think of a future for myself i cant see one without soccer in it. My effort is guaranteed. I give nothing less than 110% every time I touch the field. There is only one word that I use to describe myself and that is “Outstanding”. I live by this one quote from Muhammad Ali  “when you want to succeed as bad as you want to breath then you will be successful” and i think about that during training during games during everything, I will run without air in my lungs if i have to, i put my heart on that field every time i take a step on it. Skill means nothing without dedication and what i sure have is dedication to soccer no doubt about it.
