I started playing soccer at an early age and have loved the game since. I watch soccer locally, nationally and internationally. I also play every chance I get, whether its with my high school, my club or pick up games with friends. My parents have given me a lot of opportunities to play which helps me keep a good work ethic and balance with both , my academics and my soccer life. They also taught me what it means to be committed to something, to always try my best and always give it my all no matter what the scenario may be.
As a player, I work very hard at practices just as I do in games. I have a good sense of reading the game, the field to help me make the best decision during my games. I also think my positive attitude, my relationship with my teammates and coaches, my versatility and especially my strong left foot keeps me on the right path. I have the willingness to fight and help my team in anyway I can to secure a win. Throughout the years of playing, I have learned to accept defeat, but once I review the game it helps me understand better the results and accept them. I use the loss as a lesson to improve my game whether it be with the ball or mentally I will find a way to improve.
My ultimate goal is to continue to play soccer at the next level. I will be attending Pre College Development Academy in August of 23 to further develop into a stronger player overall (physically, mentally and tactically). I really hope I get the chance and opportunity to play in College and find a career that will keep me involved with the sport. Soccer is a sport that I am passionate about and has become my world.
