Hi my name is Richard Moore and I play soccer at Mt. Zion high school in Mt. Zion Illinois. I was born in Newcastle, England where I started playing soccer and at the age of ten I moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands and played club soccer for 2 years and won a league championship during that time. When I was twelve my family moved to Mt. Zion and I have played for clubs in the central Illinois area. I have started in the mid-field for every team as well as played above my age up to two age groups at times. I have also played right wing, forward, and defense at the club and high school varsity level. While at Mt. Zion I have been a three year starting letterman beginning as a Freshman and this year I was named All-Conference as well as an honorable mention to the All-Sectional team for central Illinois. My further goals this winter and spring during my Junior year are to showcase my skills at college ID camps and to play club soccer for SASA in Springfield, Illinois.
My goals for when i graduate from Mt.zion High school are to enhance my soccer skills at the college level and begin a career in Physical therapy/sports medicine. My dreams are to play at the Division 1 level, to be able to compete with the best in the country and be coached by quality coaches who can help improve my skills and knowledge for the beautiful game of soccer.
