Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. Soccer has always been my passion and has aspired me to play at the collegiate level. I started off playing up an age group for travel soccer. Then, after awhile, came back down to my age group. My positions are Striker (Forward) or Outside Midfielder. During my first season at McCutcheon High School, I made Varsity. I started 8 of our 18 games. I scored 10 goals and had 4 assists. One of my goals was a game winning goal, in the last 2 minutes of the game, to beat West Lafayette. In sectionals, I scored versus West Lafayette and we went on to win the game 2-0. I was also selected to play in the North vs South All-Star Game.
For club season I played at Tippco SC, my team was in the Premier Division for ISL, we finished 6th and I had 14 goals and 5 assists for the season. Six of my fourteen goals were scored in our two President's Cup games, three in each game. I had three hat tricks this season. Two of the hat tricks were scored in the second half of the game.
My sophomore year at McCutcheon, my team went 11-4-2, our 4 losses only coming to top 15 teams in the state. I finished the season with 11 goals and 4 assists. Again this year, I scored another late goal with 8.7 seconds left in the game off of a free-kick vs West Lafayette to tie the game 2-2. For individual awards I was 1st Team All-Area and got another North vs South All-Star Selection.
For the 2016 club season, I played for Boilers FC. We played in the Premier Division for ISL and my team went 19-2-3. I finished with 22 goals and 8 assists on the season. My team and I won the National tournament, President's Cup. I was also named one of the Top 18 players in Nationals.
I have good dribbling skills, great shooting skills and am good in one-on-one situations. I am also very good at taking penalties. I'm a great listener and always look for advice to make me and my team better. I always look for what will benefit the team before what will benefit me.
