I have always loved soccer. It is my favorite sport. My parents would tell you that I have been playing ever since I could walk. My dream is to continue to play soccer when I go to college to study engineering or technology. My other passion is science, specifically, how things work. I love cars, motorcycles, trucks, and trains.
Soccer has had a big impact on my life and has taught me very important lessons in life, one of which is to be hardworking. Being hardworking has not only affected how I play soccer, it has also affected how I do things outside of soccer. I am currently enrolled in AP and dual credit courses. At graduation, I will have completed the Indiana College Core, which is 30 credit hours of general education college-level coursework that can be transferred between all Indiana public colleges and universities and some private ones. I am also enrolled in Central Nine Career Center in Precision Machining where I will also earn my NIMS Mill Operator Level 1 and CNC Lathe Operator certifications.
Something else you may not know about me is that I’ve been recognized by my team as also being a servant leader. Being a servant leader to me means prioritizing the needs of the team above my own. I always try to empower others and lift them up. As a junior, I was a starting left back and sometimes center back. I learned to adapt and play where the team needed me most. It is important to me to find a college where the players put the team first.
