I am a 6'2", 205 lb. top-level goalkeeper looking to transfer to a 4-year school after my Sophomore year at Johnson County Community College (Fall 2024). I've been told I am technically sound, have great command of my box, and good vision of the field. I am a leader on and off the field, with strong field communication, and thrive in a competitive and pressure-filled environment. I am good with my feet and distribute the ball well. I have transitioned to the college game quickly and continue to grow and learn.
I just finished my Freshman year at Johnson County Community College, where our team was ranked as high as #7 nationally during the season in the NJCAA. I played in 17 games for a total of 1485 minutes, finishing with 66 saves, a GAA of 1.64 and a save% of .710. I was named conference goalkeeper of the week six of the nine weeks. (Post-season awards have yet to be released)
Prior to JCCC, I played high school soccer for De Soto High School (KS), where I lettered all four years, was an All-State, All-Metro, and All-Conference selection, team captain, team MVP, earned the team leadership award, and set school records for saves in a career and saves in a season. I played club soccer for Kansas Rush Elite Academy 05. In 2022, we finished the Elite Academy national league regular season #1 in the country with a record of 16-1-2, including a first place finish in the Midwest conference (12-0-1). We also finished 3rd at the EA National Championship.
Academics are very important to me. I came into college with dual credit hours, so I am a full semester ahead and currently have a 3.6 GPA. I graduated high school summa cum laude with a 4.1 GPA. During high school and now in college, I work part time while playing soccer. I was also honored to have been selected to attend the Kansas City Regional FBI office's 2021 FBI Youth Leadership Academy for incoming high school juniors and seniors, as 1 of 30 total participants accepted from the entire region.
I have enjoyed the experience of being a student-athlete in college and desire to continue that path after JCCC. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow as a goalkeeper. My current plan after college is a career in forensics; therefore I intend to major in Biochemistry.
