Alex Michael '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a dedicated student athlete. I will put in the work to be the best student and soccer player (and teammate) I can be. I am looking to play soccer past high school and hope for a good college academically and for soccer.  I have started on our varsity team since my freshman year and  was named a captain as a sophomore.  I am a leader for all, and will do push myself and teammates to be their best on and off the field. As a player, I can be a huge help to any team, and can adapt very quickly to any style of play. My competitiveness, passion for the game, and stubbornness to never give up allow me to never stop working at anything until I am able to do it well enough for my own liking. On the field I am a very coachable player and will listen to my coaches and criticism from teammates as well; I believe that my teammates' criticism is as important as a coach's criticism.
