I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I love the game and the challenge as a midfielder to possess the ball and find my forwards for a finish. I'm able to read the game quickly, move into space fast and am strong in 1v1 situations. I know how to use my body against larger opponents to maintain possession, beat defenders and get the ball to my teammates. Outside of my club team I'm constantly looking to train harder and in new environments. My team has participated in the most competitive leagues available in our our area: GSPL (US Club Soccer), Mid South (USYS National League) and I've been on the regional pool for the 2006 Louisiana ODP Boys Team. I train outside my team 1-2 additional times per week in small group sessions to constantly keep my touch fast and accurate. I currently play on an MLS Next Team - LA TDP Elite 06 in the Frontier division. It is challenging but I am enjoying competing against the top MLS teams in the nation and continuing to improve my game.
My goal is to play D1 soccer at a school both academically and athletically strong. I'm not focused on a particular school or region. I hope to get to play for a strong, technical coach that can help me grow into an even better player.
