My name is Ryan Donoghue. As time goes on in my high school life, my aspirations for college only grow greater. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my work ethic and drive to be my best. Growing up in a house with three other siblings close in age, I've gained a love for competition. In school and sports, I strive to be my best and push those around me to help them accomplish their goals. I am a leader on the field in soccer, on the court in basketball, and in my school community as class president. I take pride in my clean eating habits, physical fitness, and maintaining a focused mindset in all that I do. I stand at 6'5 and weigh 215 lbs, which I use to strengthen my presence in the goal. Being raised in Central Maine has had its pros and cons for seeking out the opportunity to play college soccer. There have been limitations on my options, exposure, and experience but I believe my work ethic and Maine hardiness are values that set me apart from the competition in both soccer and future aspirations. If your program is looking for a 2024 soccer goalkeeper, I would highly appreciate your consideration for the spot.
