Alexander Savov '20 Recruiting Profile

After I came to the United States from my home country of Bulgaria after playing soccer for as long as I remember which was 7 years old I realized how important soccer was in my life as I started to play for my club team which was Laurel Lions. After i spend some time with the team and saw that the only way to get better was to get to know each other and constantly push each other to do better that is when I saw what my role in soccer really was. My goal was to lead and inspire others to do better when they are having a bad game or when something is preventing them from performing like stress or other problems. Soccer for me is something I love and something that will always be part of me and my family as my father was a professional soccer player in my country. If I am able  to do something I am great at at while i am entering the next chapter in my life which is college  I would be really satisfied. Helping my teammates on and off the field brings a smile on the face and I know that no matter what team I am on I will perform I will improve myself and people around me.
