Hello Coaches,
My name is Robbie Warren Jr. Currently, I am Senior at Westlake High School in Waldorf, Maryland. I have a half of day schedule, enrolled in only four (4) classes and two (2) of those are Honor classes. In my Junior year, I was enrolled in four (4) Honor class. During my Sophomore (2019-2020), I was nominated by a teacher and inducted into the National Society of High School Scholar in June 2020.
I am a hard worker and very determined. I am left dominate and I mainly play the soccer position as attack midfielder for the Maryland United U-18 Elite team and the Waldorf Travel Team (Charles 04 Boys Travel Soccer). I have played for the Waldorf travel team for the last four (4) years. Due to my hard work and determination, I have played several other position on the soccer field, such as Strike and Center Midfielder. Also, I am responsible for taking all corner kicks for my travel team. All my free time is playing or watching soccer so that I can get better. I welcome and adapt to all challenges of playing new positions. I am a team player and not a selfish player. I make smart decisions that are best for my team, not myself, when I am on the field. Decisions such as to either take the shot or pass it to my fellow teammates that have a better angle at the making the goal. I am a fast learner and I listen to my coaches critics and make the necessary changes.
The summer of 2019, from July 6 to 8, 2019, I attended my first soccer camp in Atlanta, Georgia. There were 61 coaches from different Universities there to watch over 360 players and recruit the players that they thought fit in with their soccer program. On the last day of the camp, there were 2 game showcases for 44 players that allowed all 61 coaches to see the players skills. Because the coaches were there to recruit, only about 12 to 14 underclassman were pick to play in the showcase games. The players were picked by the coaches. Due to me working hard all 3 days, assisting my teammates, and making good decisions, I was chosen as one of the underclassman to play in one of the showcase games.
Coach, I can promise, if you recruit me, I will work hard every minute on and off the field.
