I am currently a Junior at Forest Hills Northern High School in Grand Rapids Michigan. I play club soccer for the Midwest United F.C. 06 Boys Royal team (P1) and high school soccer for the Forest Hills Northern Varsity team. I am coming off the back of an impressive season with my high school team in which we were District and Regional champions and made it to the State Semifinal. Our final record was 15-4-3.
On the academic side, I am a 4.0 student. Ever since I won a robotics contest in 6th grade, I’ve been developing an interest in coding and robotics. This is why I enrolled in my school's STEM program. The program requires advanced math and an engineering passion. I will be taking the program all throughout high school.
Something unique about me is that I have been taking a Chinese immersion program since I was five years old. And I am now taking a college-level Chinese class at my high school. As I continue through the program, I will received dual-enrollment credits through Western Michigan University for Chinese.
