I have played soccer for as long as I can remember. Soccer has always been a constant in my life and a major influence. I love every aspect of the game from the atmosphere of a rival match to meeting new people and creating new friendships. But this is not only what soccer is all about. In my eyes, it's about the work that you put in off the field and on the off days. The consistent drills, sprints, and fundamentals it takes to be a great soccer player, that's what I love. Soccer has also taught me many values and life lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today.
On the field, I am a great teammate who focuses on communication and keeping my team's intensity high. This previous season I was a captain of my high school team and helped lead us to a State Championship appearance. I am a very coachable athlete who is dedicated to becoming a better player. Off the field, I like to work out, spend time with my friends and volunteer in my community. I have participated in Blight Busters, led a can top drive for the benefit of the Ronald Mcdonald House, and volunteered at Ascension Providence hospital.
In school, I am a hardworking student who pushes myself to do better. I have done so by enrolling in multiple AP classes and keeping a good GPA. In College, I will focus on my studies with the goal of becoming a dentist.
I would love the opportunity to play the sport that I am so passionate about at the next level. If I have the opportunity to play at the college level, I would continue with my hard work ethic to better myself as an individual player and bring my creative energy to the team.
