My name is Asher Paul. I am a Junior at Traverse City Central High School in northern Michigan. Through my two years of high school, I have maintained a 3.88 gpa and my goal is to maintain a high gpa throughout my junior year and beyond. I am very interested in achieving well above average grades and work hard to keep them that way.
I feel very strongly about my work ethic as a soccer player, especially when things don't go as planned. In addition to achieving varsity level both freshman and sophomore years and being named captain as a sophomore, I also play three other varsity sports throughout the year: varsity alpine ski team, varsity football team (kicker), and varsity track team. Participating in numerous high school sports throughout the year has educated my efforts to strengthen my body and stay healthy. I am a coachable and very hardworking individual, not just in the game, but also in real life with my classes, different sports, and as a person.
Competing collegiately in soccer and beyond has always been a goal of mine since I first began playing the game. I started playing soccer when I was about 5 years old and moved to playing competitively when I was 9. I am very flexible as a player and able to compete in multiple different positions on the field. I am very comfortable when receiving the ball under pressure and being able execute the correct play or plays with it. As a captain on my team, I work hard to help be a leader on and off the field. As a player, I am completely dedicated to the team and being the best player/leader, I can be.
