Personal Statement
My goal is to attend a great university for a great education and to play soccer at a high level. I know this can only be achieved if I dedicate myself fully to my academics in the classroom, my family, friends, and teammates, as well as improving myself as an athlete on the field. Although I am confident in my ability I know I can always get better in both the classroom and on the field. After tearing my ACL last fall, what at first seemed like a major setback has actually been a vital part of my development as a person and a player. it forced me to work harder than I have ever worked before and I came back faster, stronger, and with a deeper appreciation for the opportunity to play.
