Personal Statement
My goals are to get a great education, develop into a very good basketball player and strive for success as a person.
After recovering from a broken toe I averaged 30 points per game in our conference. I lead the State of MN in ppg with 27.7 and broke our high school's record of total points in a game with 43 and total points for a career with 1,706. As a senior I was the only returning starter and pushed my teammates as a leader. We needed to work hard and keep improving as a team on both ends of the court.
As a junior I lead our team in scoring with 17 ppg, received All-Conference honors and went over a 1,000 points. As a sophomore I averaged 14 ppg, received All-Conference honors and broke the school record for 3 pointers made with 79. As a freshman I averaged 10 ppg, had a school record 10 threes and 37 points in a conference game and received 'Athlete of the Week' honors in the St. Paul, MN area.
Basketball has taught me discipline and to work hard for my goals both on the court and off the court. I am continuing to develop my skills in order to play collegiate basketball at the highest level possible.
I have started on our varsity soccer team as a freshman, sophomore and junior. I have received All-Conference honors and was voted Team MVP in soccer.
I've had the great opportunity to play high school basketball with my older brother. We have enjoyed playing with each other since kindergarten.
