Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Carter Platt. I am 15 years old, and I live in Gulfport, Mississippi. Being a student athlete helps me grow as a person. I am a multisport athlete competing in track, football and soccer. When we got knocked out in the soccer playoffs last season, that pushed me to get better and it still does today. My goal is to help my club and high school teams achieve the highest success possible, while preparing me to play at the collegiate level. I know I have what it takes to play at the next level. I have put in lots of work athletically and I take the most rigorous courses offered by my school academically. I just genuinely love the game of soccer and I think I could be a good fit to your program!

Players will gain valuable insight from college coaches, college players, former professional coaches/players and experienced club soccer coaches to help reach the next level and develop a love for the game.

Training Sessions: Morning and afternoon training sessions will focus on both skill development and tactical awareness. Evening games will not only allow each player to develop but will help improve overall team performance. Teams will play different competition each evening. We will have college coaches from NCAA Divisions 1,2,3 as well as NAIA and NJCAA programs working the camp. Your team will be assigned a college coach to run training sessions and coach games throughout the camp. This is a great opportunity to learn from and network with coaches from different college programs.
