Personal Statement

In my highlight film I'm in white playing right forward i also do the throw ins also.

I have played many sports growing up but the one sport I fell in love with was soccer because when I'm running on a open field I feel free and as if no one can catch me. What I was able to figure out at a young age is that soccer is a team sport and the ball is met to be passed around I love scoring goals but I love assisting goals more because I was able to create a chance using myself and team mates. Soccer has also taught me to be a harder worker and to strive to succeed on and off the field because I knew for me to be the best I could be I knew I needed to put the time in but practice really doesn't make perfect there's always room for improvements. Now my academic situation isn't the best I'm not making excuses because it's my fault my GPA is as low as it is but what sorta contributed to that was that I have been a three sport athlete I played soccer, wrestled and ran track since 8th grade all the way up till my senior year. This Is when I decided to keep weight lifting and just focus on soccer. I am not one to disappoint every time I walk out on the field I give it 110% one thing I learned in wrestling and track is that If There's No Pain There's No Gain !

So I spent a semester at North Iowa community college this year while down there my cousin attempted suicide a couple times also had a loved one pass I became greatly depressed and as a result academics started to fall which greatly increased the depression.  I've played soccer all my life along with many other sports.  I might not know exactly what I want to do in life but I'm sure of two things soccer and education.  growing up a city boy has taught me nothings ever too late and I know if I'm given the chance I will push my self harder than ever before I'm a changed man everyone makes mistakes and does wrong things but its not the mistake that matters its how hard the individual is willing to push there self to overcome and push on through to greatness.  I'm not asking to play right away at all I'm asking for some coach out there to give me one last chance and allow me to show that individual how bad I want it and what I'm willing to do to reach my goals!
