Juan Ferreira '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is JP Ferreira. I'm a Junior at Washburn High School in Minneapolis Minnesota, weighing about 153 pounds and measuring 6'0. I have a GPA of about 3.71 at Washburn and am enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program here as well. I am currently enrolled in 4 IB classes and have taken AP courses in the past years. I have been playing soccer for over 12 years as of now and have much experience as a soccer player. During high school, as a freshman I played on the higher JV team while spending my Sophomore and Junior year playing on the Varsity team. My preferred position is center-mid, whether it be attacking or just a regular mid. I am very good at distributing the ball to my teammates and playing simple. I make quick decisions when I have the ball and know what I will do before receiving it. I make smart decisions on and off the ball and dribble only to create space. My speed and and agility allows me to accomplish this better and more efficiently.

In the end, I am a team player and a hard worker both on and off the pitch. I wish to study at four year public or private university to play soccer at the highest level possible.
