Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to complete a four year college program majoring in business and economics. I am a strong mathematician, and I enjoy challenging curriculum. I have a very strong work ethic. I value hard work and I believe that you can only become better with perfect practice. Practice is the time to improve your skills. I am dedicated and I work outside of training times to improve my talents.
What makes me a good candidate for the team is my ability to play many defensive positions. The experiences that I bring to the game of soccer. are strategy and poise. I value ball control and quick simple passes. As a midfielder, I provide options for new plays and I can anticipate most passes. I am a busy bee in the middle. Never chasing the ball but always moving forward. I have been trained by a small club with an expertise of possession. "Possession is a lifestyle" is our team motto. We are diligently commanding the ball.I am a quick player who enjoys moving the ball.
What makes me different from other recruits is my character, athletics and academics as well as my positive attitude. Self discipline and dedication are two my strong character traits. I am a hard worker who is determined to do my best. I rarely give up and I believe that you should know your opponent as well as you know yourselves. Once you can see their strengths and weaknesses it's easier to find ways of stopping them. I believe that futbol is about teamwork. Nothing can be done alone. We are a team, and it takes a team to play the sport well. These are the reasons that I believe I would be a great asset to a collegiate futbol (soccer) program.
